| Abstract. | An important characteristic of contemporary society is people mobility; people travel, from many reasons, all around the world (business, diplomacy, science, sport, leisure, etc). That increases the probability of accidents involving people far from their residence places. The quality of the medical care is crucial, in such situations, for saving human lives. Geographical, cultural and linguistic frontiers may harmfully affect the efficiency of medical act. This paper presents an overview of the actual involvement of Computer Science in the growth of medical quality services and proposes a possible solution in providing essential information on the health state of patients that needs medical care far from their residence. |
