Abstract. | Electronic Business, or "E-business", may be defined broadly as any business process that relies on an automated information system. Today, this is mostly done with Web-based technologies. In practice, e-business is more than just e-commerce. E-business involves business processes spanning the entire value chain: electronic purchasing and supply chain management, processing orders electronically, handling customer service, and cooperating with business partners. The GIS exist all over the world and this solves different problems. In business administration - the GIS technology develops in the traditional GIS community and thus becomes a component integrated in the informational infrastructure of many organizations. GIS assures essential informational instruments for different classes of informational systems. As IT users, you may have the possibility to use the best instruments for: to co-ordinate and communicate the main concepts between the departments of an organization; to pass important information inside the organization; to administrate and to keep an infrastructure that focuses on spatial data |
